FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method and device for mixing of loose materials, for instance components of agglomeration charge during their preparation for sintering and is intended for application mainly in ferrous metallurgy. Method for mixing of loose materials includes batching of components and their mixing in drum mixer. Pouring of material in drum mixer is realised at values of pouring angle of α1, which exceed value of separation angle α0 within the limits from α0 inclusive to 90° inclusive. Device for method realisation represents cylindrical belt drum in the form of driven closed belt conveyor with driving, tightening and deviating rollers and end solid or annular disks, which are installed in their own bearing supports and are rotated by conveyor belt. On ascending branch of conveyor belt there is a rectilinear section provided, deviating roller of rectilinear section is equipped with actuating mechanism, for instance in the form of worm-screw gear.
EFFECT: increase of mixing quality in drum mixers and also creation of conditions for automation of technological mixing process.
