FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication equipment and can be used for measuring sine-wave signal frequency in data processing and measuring systems. In compliance with this invention, the proposed method comprises obtaining the signal current phase as amplitude of complex number. In-phase samples are used as a real component of aforesaid complex number. Quadrature samples are used as an imaginary samples of filtered. Compounds of quadrature signal decomposition converted into digital form. The method comprises also obtaining the difference of adjacent current phases of the signal. Note here the data unit is accumulated, based on consecutive current signal phase differences. Then, weight functions are constructed in compliance with mathematical equations described in description of the proposed invention to allow estimating signal frequency. The proposed method is implemented using the device proposed by this invention.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measuring sine-wave signal frequency, against background of interferences.
