SUBSTANCE: invention relates to battery power supply system with internal protection for electric equipment used in underground mining and other explosion-hazard areas. According to invention battery power supply system contains as minimum one battery cell made as rechargeable lithium battery cell; pressure-resisting battery case is designed for explosion-proof installation of all lithium battery cells. Pressure-resisting construction of battery case creates conditions for use of lithium battery cells in mining.
EFFECT: creation of explosion-proof power supply system.
