FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of filtering materials. Method for preparation of catalytically active grainy filtering material includes grinding and sorting of burnt rock with provision of fraction of 0.5-2.0 mm, rock impregnation at first with solution of potassium hypermanganate, and then with solution of iron vitriol with production of manganese oxides on burnt rock surface, besides, after impregnation with potassium hypermanganate solution, drying is carried out at 150-200°C, and material is cooled down to room temperature, and after impregnation with solution of iron vitriol drying is also carried out at 150-200°C.
EFFECT: improved mechanical strength of material.
