FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: granular natural material contains on the surface catalytically active layer, which consists of mixture Mn2O3, MnO2 and Fe(OH)2 with their weight ratio (2-2.5):(5-5.5):(0.5-0.7). Catalytically active layer is faxed on the surface of filtering one by processing with sodium thiosulphate.
EFFECT: obtaining of effective material, suitable for purification of water from iron.
