FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: flask plug is made completely or partially from elastomer material comprising the main thermoplastic elastomer representing styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene thermoplastic elastomer composed with colouring agent to produce coefficient of absorption of laser radiation with wave length varying from 960 to 1000 nm in the range of 0.5 to 2.5 mm-1. This invention covers the flask plug design version as well as that of the piston for syringe designed for hypodermic injections and method of injecting preparations.
EFFECT: elastomer is suitable for producing plugs for pharmaceutical flask plugs and syringe pistons pierced by hollow needles, pierced hole being sealed by focused laser radiation.
