FIELD: production line engineering.
SUBSTANCE: conveyor includes belt circuited in vertical plane and skirting drive (5) and bend (6) drums. Bearing cases (7) of bend drum axle (8) can shift in tilted guiding lines (9) attached by joints to the conveyor frame. Bottom part of guiding lines is sprung to the frame at drive drum side, and at the opposite side it can interact with supports (14) fixated to the frame. Guiding lines are perpendicular to average tilt angle of idle belt run running off the drive drum, calculated as a half of a sum of minimum and maximum tilt angles of idle belt run running off the drive drum corresponding to the extreme positions of bend drum in the guiding lines. Supporting device is mounted over idle belt run along its course after the bend drum. Spring force selection is determined by two conditions; first, spring operating force should exceed surrounding force due to the torque generated by resultant force of idle belt run tension at run-in and run-off points at the bend drum in any its position in the guiding lines when conveyor operates without belt skidding at the drive drum; and second, the resulting force mentioned should exceed spring operating force during belt skidding at the drive drum.
EFFECT: enabled adjustment of driving force.
