The method of obtaining raw materials for making candles and heat accumulating material - wax, the initial material used is a mixture of lipid-containing organic materials, particularly a mixture of residue of food products and/or waste edible fats and/or waste food products from the food industry and/or animal fat, involves a stage for washing and grinding the initial material, a stage for separating lipids and a refinement stage, and/or hydrogenation, obtaining raw material for making candles or heat accumulating material.
EFFECT: invention allows for obtaining raw material for making candles and heat accumulating material from a new type of raw materials - mixture of residue of food products and/or waste edible fats and/or waste food products from the food industry and/or animal fat.
