SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing candles consisting of the parent substance with additives. The parent substance is sprayed in liquid phase on cooling medium, transferred to a solid phase and pressed to a molded article. As the parent substance the method involves using oil or fat only, or mixture of substance of a single class - oils or fats that hydrogenated and transferred to homogenous large-crystalline structure in cooling medium. The melting point of the parent substance is 40-80°C. Candle not containing paraffin and stearin is prepared as tea candle, burner, cigar-shaped candle, domestic or cone-shaped candle prepared by above described method.
