FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shock absorber incorporating shock absorbing body. Piston reciprocates in intake chamber to produce air pressure that brings about braking force acting on the said piston. Aforesaid intake chamber features, at least, one orifice. The said piston features a spacer section which, depending upon pressure ratios in the said intake chamber, stays in active engagement with the cylinder. Shock absorber design can be notably simplified by making the piston and its spacer section integral. Both elements are made from soft-elastic material. Piston rod is reinforced with the help of a shell.

EFFECT: reduced labour ioput in manufacture and mounting.
