SUBSTANCE: invention concerns wireless local network (WLAN), particularly determination of delivery acknowledgement (ACK) frame for acknowledgement of transmission frame delivery in WLAN. Effect is achieved by reduction of additional maintenance indication for PPDU HT frame. Method and device allow for standard access to environment of each station in wireless LAN environment and complements carrier control method. Method involves defining station types in wireless local network, defining ACK frame for acknowledgement of transmission frame delivery in wireless local network according to the result of determination, and notification of respective station in wireless local network of the specific ACK frame.
EFFECT: precise control of carrier in WLAN environment, improved efficiency of bandwidth utilisation.
