FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: offered device concerns ecology and medicine, particularly detoxification of biological fluids. A magnetic separator comprises a separated fluid passage located in a gradient magnetic field generated by a cylindrical magnetic system accommodating ring-shaped magnets perpendicular to its axes and characterised by magnetic reversal in junction to the adjacent ring-shaped magnet. The specified separated fluid passage has a circular section, and adjoins to the ring-shaped magnets at least along its outer boundary. Besides, the ring-shaped magnets are designed with radial or axial magnetisation, and in the separated fluid passage, there is a tape made of non-retentive material, while the sectional area of the separated fluid passage monotonously varies (decreases or increases) within inlet to outlet of said passage.

EFFECT: improved ecological compatibility, effectiveness of separation, safety in use, cost reduction and downsizing of the apparatus.
