FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed group of inventions relates to techniques for purifying liquid nanostructured media from magnetic and low-magnetic impurities and to devices which implement said techniques. Method of purifying liquid nanostructured media from magnetic and weakly magnetic impurities, in which liquid medium flow is formed and exposed to it by structured magnetic field formed by series-mounted permanent magnets and ferromagnetic concentrators, separating adjacent magnets from each other, so that local gradient magnetic regions are formed perpendicular to flow of liquid medium. Structured magnetic field is created by permanent magnets having the same spatial orientation of the poles of neighboring magnets adjoining the concentrator. Method is carried out using a magnetic separator comprising a tray and a magnetic system, including series-installed permanent magnets of rectangular shape and ferromagnetic concentrators separating adjacent magnets from each other. Magnets are installed on bottom of tray and have long (l), short (w) sides and height (h), at l>w>h, and arranged in a row so that their long sides are parallel to each other. Permanent magnets have the same spatial orientation of poles of adjacent magnets adjoining concentrator.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of cleaning liquid nanostructured media from magnetic and weakly magnetic impurities.
