FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of mechanical engineering and may be used to process shrouds, rollers and other large-dimensioned cylindrical elements, specifically in papermaking and cement production. The machine contains fixed removable ramp, base frame with supports of longitudinal and transversal travel, tool feed and rotation drives and copying device. Damping table is provided which consists of base, upper support, two guides, two gas two-turbine dampers and front movable buckle. The latter has draw axis with adjusting nut and locknut for shifting upper support relative to base. Copying device is made as frame including two holddowns and three axes, and four copying supports in each one of which two self-aligning rollers. Copying device frame is fixed in brackets of damping table upper support. Toll is made in the form of abrasive belt head installed on base frame at the tilt angle to horizontal plane α=55°.
EFFECT: processing accuracy is improved and roughness of finished surface is reduced due to vibration dampening and smoothing impacts and shocks from copied irregularities and projections on the element being processed.
