FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to manufacturing engineering, specifically to methods for wire brushing treatment. Device is coerced to move longitudinally. Treated stock is coerced to rotate. Device is used which contains body with cutting elements, wave guide, striker and hydraulic impulse generator. The device wraps around a stock and at the butt end of its body radial grooves are made in which cutting elements are installed. These elements are made in the form of metal wire pile bundles. Wires are V-bended into the body. Pile bundles have peripheral section located in the plane perpendicular to device longitudinal axis, and bent section located at an angle to this plane. Pile bundles form work surface wrapping around a stock. The surface diametre is equal to stock diametre. The waveguide is made in the form of sleeve which is fitted into body hole. Periodic pulse load is created using waveguide to coerce additional movement to metal wires of pile bundles, to straighten them and create tension.
EFFECT: technological capabilities are enhanced, productivity is increased and costs are reduced.
