FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention deals with design of driver assemblies for pressure casting machines. The driver assembly contains a cylinder for reception of a pressurised liquid medium that is mounted onto the casting machine shaft and an electric motor having a hollow shaft. The cylinder has an inner and an outer surfaces and is mounted so that to be capable of rotation. The crowned piston remains in a sliding contact with the cylinder inner surface and is mounted so that to be capable of rotation. The shaft design enables axial displacement under the liquid medium pressure through the cylinder towards the piston crown. The electric motor has housing, rotor and stator. The stator is mounted on the housing wall with the rotor connected to the cylinder outer surface. The rotor is designed to provide for rotation of the piston and rotation of the pressure casting machine shaft.
EFFECT: invention enables enhancement of the injector assembly injection properties.
