FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention deals with combined ore benefication processes (those of lead pyrometallurgy - in particular) and is to be utilised in non-ferrous metallurgy for processing rebellious oxidised lead ores. The proposed method of processing rebellious oxidised lead ore containing plumbojarosite envisages sulphidising annealing with offgrade pyrite concentrate in an atmosphere of overheated aqueous vapour. Then follows flotation benefication. Annealing proceeds at a temperature of 993-1023°K.
EFFECT: utilisation of an inexpensive sulphidiser, extraction of lead from rebellious oxidised lead ore containing plumbojarosite.
