FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: in the proposed method for processing of oxidised gold-arsenious ore, the latter is mixed with gold-containing pyrite concentrate in As:Stotal weight ratio equal to 1:1.2-2; crushed carbon-containing material in the quantity of 0.4% to 1% of initial charge mass is added and subject to sulphidising annealing at the temperature of 650°C to 700°C at the interval of 20 to 40 minutes at reduced oxygen flow rate so that roasted product with maximum content of gold and less than 0.03% of arsenic is obtained. Sulphidising annealing can be performed at oxygen flow rate of 60% to 75% of theoretically required one for complete burnout of carbon and partial burnout of sulphur.
EFFECT: reduction of arsenic content and improving extraction of gold from the roasted product.
