FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy of noble metals, in particular, to extraction of gold and removal of arsenic from gold-bearing scorodite ores. Method of processing involves annealing of gold-bearing ore scorodite in atmosphere of superheated steam at temperature of 700-750 °C in fluidised bed furnace in presence of a sulphidizer, in form of pyrite concentrate with total sulphur content not less than 35 %. Before annealing charge containing ore and sulphidizer is milled to size of 95 % class - 1.0 mm. Annealing is performed in fluidised bed furnace for 25-30 minutes, followed by extracting gold from ash into a solution by cyanidation.
EFFECT: technical result is removal and output of arsenic in toxic form, high degree of desulphurisation of initial ore, maximum extraction of fine and finely dispersed gold from gold-bearing scorodite ores.
