Abstract RU 2100643 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; electrical equipment. SUBSTANCE: method of fuel combustion includes ionization and igniting of fuel-air mixture by spark plug. Ionization is carried out at level of ion-radicals, and energy liberated in process of recombination is used for useful operation of engine. Energy of condensed electric spark is used for forming ion-radicals, this energy being not less than 10 mJ and not more than 3% of energy produced by engine. Ignition system has low voltage alternator 1 connected through rectifier 2 with storage battery 3 to which electronic converter 4 is also connected. Electronic converter 4 is connected with third reservoir capacitor 12. System has also noncontact control unit 19 and spark plug control unit 16. System has additional alternator 5. Capacitor 6 is connected to one of buses of alternator 5. Capacitor is connected with oscillatory circuit 8 which includes reservoir capacitor 10, inductance coil 9, electronic switch 11 and ignition transformer 13. High energy of spark provides more complete burning out of fuel. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced pollution of atmosphere. 4 cl, 1 dwg
