FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to methods and installations for provision of forced melting of snow mass in winter time, collected by special transport vehicles from city roads and streets, and at the same time providing operation of fountain in summer time. Invention objective is to create small-dimension universal installation of simple design, which is convenient in operation and efficient to work with and may be used without considerable investments. For this purpose in method for provision of snow melting and foundation in a single installation, in winter time collected snow is discharged into reservoir filled with water, this water is heated, and heated water is supplied to snow by means of spraying nozzles, and in summer period - disconnection of reservoir water heating and supply of this water through spraying nozzles, providing for fountain operation. Installation for snow melting and fountain comprises reservoir joined with source of water and having drain line, pump installed with the possibility of supply to distributing nozzles of water available in reservoir to snow in reservoir during installation operation as snow melter or above reservoir during operation as fountain, and source of water heating installed with the possibility of its disconnection for installation operation as fountain with pump in operation.
EFFECT: provision of simple and efficient installation for solutions of problems of snow cleaning in winter time and creation of comfortable conditions for living in summer period of the year.
