FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: device for melting is arranged in the form of a heat insulated hopper previously filled with water, in the lower part of which there is a heating section, above which, but below the water level, a detachable protective grid is installed. In the device there is also a double-cavity heat exchanger and a three-way valve. The heating section is combined with one of cavities of a double-cavity heat exchanger into a closed manifold with a circulating coolant, making it possible to transfer heat from a heat exchanger to water filled into the hopper. In the other cavity of the heat exchanger there is a hot coolant flowing after compression in a compressor. The drain manifold joined with a sewage system is arranged as heat insulated with a stop valve, in the upper part of the side surface of the reservoir there is an overflow hole joined by a heat insulated pipeline with a drain manifold after a stop valve.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce power inputs and to increase operation safety.
