FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly to aircraft maintenance, namely to towing devices. Proposed device comprises towing bogie, motor with reducer and guide roller. It includes also steering mechanism, steering tie-rods, shaft fitted on the boogie frame, controlled driving wheel drive with differential gear and constant-velocity joint, mechanisms to couple the bogie to aircraft NLG and those to increase bogie wheel torque. Steering tie rods link steering mechanisms with bogie drive wheels. Shaft supports detachable drive roller and bogie wheel drive interacting with reducer and drive wheels. Mechanisms to couple the bogie to aircraft NLG are arranged on the boogie frame to move vertically thereon. Mechanism to increase bogie wheel torque represents hydraulic cylinders mounted between towing bogie frame and NLG stop, the said hydraulic cylinders being driven by hydraulic pump incorporating hydraulic control valve.
EFFECT: efficient aircraft towing on low-adhesion surfaces.
