FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: towing method is implemented by using a small-sized remote-controlled towing vehicle that includes the ramp (8) of the mechanism of lifting and locking the wheels of a front aircraft pillar and the wheel-locker (11) of the front aircraft pillar. The towing vehicle control is carried out remotely by means of a control panel. Wherein starting the power unit (2), selecting a required transmission (3), approaching the aircraft with the pre-open locking mechanism until the contact with the stop (10) for locking and centering the wheels (11) of the front aircraft pillar are carried out. Thereinafter, ensuring the proper placement of the front pillar wheels, their fixation on the ramp (8) is performed, and lifting the front aircraft pillar is performed, creating thereby the additional loading of the drive wheels (5) of the towing device, providing the desired value of adhesion force of the driving (5) and the driven wheels of the small-sized towing. The towing process is controlled by means of the remote control.

EFFECT: invention extends the functionality, provides the maximum efficiency with the minimum sizes of the towing device of the parking space.
