FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground handling of aircrafts, including unmanned aerial vehicles. Smaller aircraft towing device comprises sensors to receive signal from route indicator (5), sensor to control overall space in direction of movement (9), sensor to determine distance to aircraft front post (10), satellite tracking sensor (12). Mechanism for lifting and fixing of wheels of aircraft front pillar (14) is made in form of profiled bucket with possibility of rotation around its axis by means of servo drive of ladle (8). On the front wall of the above ladle there is a sensor to control the presence of wheels of the front post of aircraft (16) in the mechanism of lifting and fixing wheels of the front post. Front driving wheels of towing vehicle have individual drive from electric motors via reduction gear with possibility of sensors signal supply to control unit, which controls operation of electric drives of wheels drive and servo drive of lifting and fixing mechanism of wheels of aircraft front pillar.
EFFECT: higher reliability, safety and simplified design.
