METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF CORDAGE Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC D06B3/00 

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: in process of cordage treatment, impregnating device body is filled with latex, and non-impregnated polyester cord is passed through rollers of limiter, submersible wheel and rubber wringing device, and is sent to drying chamber. Cord is placed on drying chamber pulleys so that it is in tightened position with the help of fixing cable, which shifts movable trolley of drying chamber. After all cord impregnated with latex is placed into drying chamber, hot air is supplied in it, temperature of which is maintained within the limits of 50-60 degrees Celsius. Drying of latex-impregnated cord in drying chamber is carried out at specified temperature for 1.5-2 hours. After cord has been dried in drying chamber, it is reeled with the help of pull hoist, is withdrawn from drying chamber, twisted in coil in box, and impregnated cord coil is formed. When several such coils are gathered, they are suspended and blown with cold air with temperature of 20-25 degrees Celsius for 7-8 hours.

EFFECT: according to invention, method provides for higher strength and water resistance of cordage.
