MOTOR WITH FUEL INJECTION BY TWO SPRAYERS Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC F02M69/00

Abstract RU 2365779 C2

FIELD: motors and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsion engineering, particularly to fuel injection apparatus of motors. Motor with fuel injection by two sprayers contains cylinder block, implemented with row of cylinder openings; cylinders head, fixed on cylinders block; inlet channel, implemented in cylinder head, running from combustion chamber with inclination upwards relative to axis of each cylinder and acting as inlet channel for each cylinder; inlet manifold, attached to inlet channel on its outlet end and containing branching of inlet channel for each cylinder; equalising basin, installed before inlet manifold and shared by several cylinders; sprayer of injection into cylinder, provided for each cylinder for direct fuel injection into combustion chamber; sprayer of injection into inlet channel, provided for each cylinder for fuel injection into inlet channel; the first forcing pipe, attached to all sprayer of injection into cylinder for feeding of fuel into it; and the second forcing pipe, attached to all sprayer of injection into inlet channel for feeding of fuel into it. On one of side of cylinders head is it implemented projecting sideways wall of inlet channel. Inlet channel enters the wall of inlet opening so, that it is installed with inclination upwards. Sprayer of injection into cylinder and the first forcing pipe are located under wall of inlet channel, if to look in the direction endwise the bent shaft, and affixed to cylinders head. On top edge of wall of inlet channel it is implemented directed upwards flat surface. To flat surface on top it is affixed outlet end of inlet manifold. Sprayer of injection into inlet channel and the second forcing pipe are affixed to inlet manifold so that they are located nearby the inlet channel on side, opposite to sprayer of injection into cylinder, crosswise the inlet channel, if to look in the direction endwise the bent shaft, and on inlet manifold, nearby the mating surfaces, where coincide inlet manifold and wall of inlet channel, it is implemented fastening saddle, to which it is affixed sprayer of injection into inlet channel.

EFFECT: invention provides creation of motor with fuel injection by two sprayers, in which it is simultaneously with ability of package installation in motor of sprayers of two types it is achieved ability of easy mounting and maintenance of sprayer of injection into inlet channel with forcing pipe with split-hair accuracy.
