FIELD: ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to projectiles for anti-personal automatic grenade launchers. Proposed projectile comprises nose fuse, splitter body filled with explosive and guide ledges made from the material of the said body. These ledges represent trapezoidal-section circular grooves with the trapezoid bases located at the body crosswise groove. The depth of the said groves is subject to the relationship d/d₁=1.04-1.05, where d is the caliber diametre, d₁ is the groove diametre. Note here that the groves are spaced apart and seat at the distance from the groove edge of 0.8-1.2 of the groove base width.

EFFECT: increase range of fire and higher accuracy of hits.
