FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to artillery shells of high-explosive fragmentation, and more specifically to rounds for a grenade launcher. Grenade launcher shot comprises head fuse, fragmentation body with driving band equipped with crushing localisers in the form of distributed rifles on the side of the chamber filled with explosive equipment. There is also a shank bearing a propellant charge. This charge adjoins the central cap primer and nozzle holes at the end face. Rifles have wedge-shaped profile and are made with transverse grooves with depth of quarter-half of housing wall thickness. This enables separation of housing at blasting into parallel rings with height equal to pitch between grooves determined from analytical expression. That rings formed during blasting are provided with possibility of transverse fragmentation into striking elements. Housing bottom is equipped with a skirt mating with the groove of the shank, which are connected by means of anaerobic sealant.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of ammunition.
