FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: artillery cartridge contains a nose fuse, adjacent to the explosive content of the body. The body is equipped with a band and a hollow tapering behind tang over the bottom. The body includes the propellant charge of detachable cartridge case, carrying the central primer. The cartridge case is made as stack-mounted and consists of a central body, carrying propellant powder, and rigidly connected from the side of its flange shell, having a mouth, which is crimped to the body by the open end. The body tang is located between mentioned parts of the cartridge case, and the thin-walled convex bottom of the body has a spherical shape.

EFFECT: increase of cartridge firing range.
