FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to diagnostics of motor transport and military wheeled vehicles, in particular to instruments for measuring total play in steering. The playmetre contains signaling indicator of beginning of steerable wheels turning. Limiter switch is made as optical computer mouse with light indicator. The mouse is interacting with steerable wheel and with computer pad placed on base. Stand with levers is made as lead with brace. The mouse is rigidly fixed in carriage and commutated with computer system unit. The brace is connected to steerable wheel tyre. The lead is pivotally connected with the carriage by one its end, and is connected with brace by the other its end.
EFFECT: reduction of mass-dimension parametres and improvement of device reliability and ease of use.
