FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopaedics and traumatology and can be used in surgical treatment of forefoot deformations. Anterolateral projection of metatarsal bone is approached. Cavities of hallux metatarsophalangeal articulations are opened with crucial incision. From the medial side, 5-6 mm in proximal direction from head of hallux metatarsal bone there is oblique cuneiform osteotomy with anterolateral inclined position of wedge base that provides anatomically normal position of hallux and metatarsal bone for the following external rotation thereof. In position of ensured correction, osteosynthesis is applied within osteotomy with drill wires.
EFFECT: method prevents risk of infectious complications, does not cause devascularisation of head of metatarsal bone, and does not activate sites of bone necrosis.
