FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: rotor-pulse acoustic apparatus comprises housing to accommodate stators to oscillate therein. The stator end faces accommodate coaxial cylinders with flow passages and rotor disk to make various oscillations. The said rotor disk has its end faces furnished with coaxial cylinders with flow passages and is fitted on built-up shaft consisting of two half shafts. Overhand half shaft supporting the said rotor disk is made from material that features acoustic Q exceeding 13000, while that of the second half shaft has acoustic Q below 13000. The 2nd half shaft has a lengthwise chamber housing a damping means that represents a rod, or a damping fluid. There can be more than two rods equally spaced apart from rotational axis. Acoustics Q of the 2nd half-shaft, damping rods and rods can vary. Damping elements may be made from various-acoustic-Q coaxial rods. Damping fluid may be represented by high-viscosity fluid.
EFFECT: reduced vibration loads onto second half shaft and higher efficiency.
