FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of ceramic mass, formation of granules, dying, application of glasing suspension onto layer granule surface and annealing. Glasing suspension used is mixture of the following composition, wt %: clay 3-5; water 40-50; cobalt or nickel or copper or manganese nitrate 0.5-3; perlite ground to complete passage through mesh of 0.14 - the rest. Granules are dried to moisture of 1-6% and annealed at the temperature of 1000°C for 10-20 min.
EFFECT: reduced volume weight of glased haydite gravel.
