FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: technical carbon aerosol is obtained by thermal-oxidative destruction of hydrocarbon row materials in the reactor. Row material and process air are heated beforehand by recuperative heat exchange together with technical carbon aerosol cooled beforehand by injection of chemically pure water. The device for technical carbon aerosol recuperative cooling contains body 8, feeding collector 16, collector of steam-water mixture 17 and remote-mount steam collector 20. Body 8 is positioned horizontally, inside it the channel with square cross-section is located on which opposite side walls the heat exchange modules are mounted pairwise in the form of several units 6 forming the cooling section. The unit 6 contains thermosyphons mounted at an angle not less than 10o with horizontal and filled with intermediate heat carrier. The zones of thermosyphon condensation are located outside the channel and enclosed in the vertical tubes with the stem-water mixture having the common feeding collector and header for collection of the stem-water mixture in the limits of one module. The feeding collectors 16 and headers for collection of stem-water mixture 17 are connected with remote-mount steam receiver 20 by down-take 18 and lift 19 pipes for providing of natural circulation. The number of units 6 is determined by the level of technical carbon aerosol cooling assigned by process regulation.

EFFECT: method provides the possibility of effective production of all technical carbon grades.
