FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to method of separating mixture of carbonyls of nickel and iron. The method consists in rectification by means of evaporating mixture at temperature above 42-43°C and in introducing carbon oxide. Also carbon oxide is introduced at amount of from 5 to 40 % from volume of vapours of separated carbonyls. Carbon oxide can be introduced into evaporated mixture or into evaporated mixture and into volume of vapours of separated carbonyls.
EFFECT: increased operation life of rectifying columns due to lowered degree of carbonyls decomposition.
