SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the production of inorganic substances and can be used in production of sodium hydroxide. The method for electrolytic preparation of sodium hydroxide involves usage of water reagents solutions and solid inert electrodes divided with diaphragm, anolyte is water solution of sodium sulfide with concentration 180-200 g/l.
EFFECT: power consumption decrease, excluding of gaseous chlorine formation.
