FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, particularly to operation of miniature thermal power station (TPS) incorporating piston-type ICE to start TPS gas-piston plant. Starting system comprises starter representing gear-type hydraulic motor articulated with the ICE crankshaft, oil feed system comprising shut-off valves and pipelines, i.e. suction, pressure, return and drain lines. Aforesaid starter represents ICE standard lubrication system pump. Starter is driven by hydraulic pump representing electrically driven purge pump fitted on suction pipeline communicating with pressure pipeline. Bypass pipeline with shut-off valve is arranged at the hydraulic motor and hydraulic pump. Shut-off valves are fitted on return and pressure lines, two ahead of and behind the hydraulic motor. Drain and suction pipelines are connected between aforesaid pipelines, ahead of and behind the hydraulic motor at bypass pipeline outlet.
EFFECT: higher reliability, reduced weight and overall dimensions.
