FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has boiler 9 of a heater with nozzle 7 and glow plug, pump unit including water pump 5 and fuel pump 2, and air heater 4 actuated by electric motor 3. Pump 4 is connected with boiler 9 through an air duct. Water pump 5 is connected with boiler 9 and water jacket of the engine through pipe lines. Fuel pump 2 is connected with nozzle 7 through a pipe line having solenoid valve 6. The device also has two-positioned distributor 1 with two inlets and outlets connected with sucking and delivery spaces of fuel pump 2 respectively. During heating the engine before starting, fuel pump 2 supplies fuel from the fuel tank to boiler 8 through distributor 1, solenoid valve 6 and nozzle 7. When heating the engine stops and fuel supply to boiler 8 is cut off, the distributor is switched to the second position to supply oil from the pan of the engine to the main oil pipe line. When pressure occurs in the lubricant system, the engine is started by way of a starting device. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg
