FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transport and cab be used to joint steel pipes with inner polymer coating together. Space between coupling and steel pipe is filled with pipe-joint compound, for example ASMOL. Joint is made by rolling the coupling over till rollers' threaded part penetrates into pipe down to 0.5 mm without destructing inner polymer coating. Joint gaps are filled with pipe-joint compound. Coupling material hardness exceeds that of steel pipe.
EFFECT: higher tightness of pipe joint.
