FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: space between coupling and external surface of pipe is filled with resin with corundum filler. Pipes are connected by coupling run-in until intrusion of corundum into a body of coupling reaches depth of 1.5 mm. Also, gaps in a butt between pipe ends are filled with resin forming a sealed joint.
EFFECT: increased reliability of sealing.
