FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry where catalytical technologies in isothermal conditions are widely used. The method for determination of catalyst adhesive activity is implemented by potentiometric titration of catalyst suspension in electrochemical cell consisting of two electrodes (calomel and platinum ones). The titration of catalyst suspension is carried out with using standard redox system "ferro-ferri" with the solution having pH=2-3. Before titration the suspension potential is measured; in the titration process the potential is measured before fixation of equilibrium value so that difference between measurements did not exceed 2mV, then the graphic chart is plotted in coordinates "titrant volume - potential corresponding to neutralisation of the alkali and alkali-earth metals" and the catalyst activity is determined according to the volume value before potential jump.

EFFECT: simplifying of the method due to time decrease of catalyst adhesive activity determination.
