FIELD: physics, measurements.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to metering equipment and may be used for remote measurement of dipole impedance. According to invention, transformer bridge is used, metering arm of the bridge is connected by means of communication line to measured and reference loads and switch, switch is used to alternately connect and disconnect measured load, or to alternately connect measured and reference loads, AC voltage modulated by amplitude according to switch changeover law is produced at the output winding of bridge, amplification is realised, as well as primary synchronous detection on bearing frequency of bridge and secondary synchronous detection according to switch changeover law and filtration. Voltage is fixed, being proportional to actual or imaginary parts of complex conductivity of measured load at frequency of bridge operation, or to difference of actual or imaginary parts of complex conductances of measured and reference loads, depending on phase of control voltage of primary synchronous detector and mode of switch operation.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of measurements under conditions, when connection wires produce considerable impact at results of measurements.
