SUBSTANCE: essence of the invention lies in the fact that the quality control of transformer oil is carried out directly during the operation of the transformer, an assembly of structural elements of the transformer is used as a coaxial capacitive sensor, and the first such structural element is the first layer of the LV winding, which is the first electrode of the coaxial capacitive sensor, and the second such structural element is the surface of the magnetic circuit of the transformer, which is the second electrode of the coaxial capacitive sensor; a high-frequency harmonic electric field is excited in the spatial gap between the first layer of the LV winding and the surface of the magnetic circuit filled with transformer oil, a high-frequency electric current I0 of windings of the low voltage transformer is used as an information signal, which is measured by means of a measuring current transformer, the effective values of the active Ia and reactive Ip components of high-frequency electric current I0 are registered, the volume resistance GM of the transformer oil and volume resistance GB of the technical water contained in the transformer oil are used as diagnostic parameters of the state of transformer oil,, which are compared with predetermined corresponding reference values GEM and GEV.

EFFECT: simplification of the procedure for quality control of transformer oil and the possibility of carrying it out directly during the operation of the transformer.
