SUBSTANCE: cord is proposed for connecting an auxiliary device to a portable electronic device. The control cord has a flexible longitudinal sheath and several electric conductors, which run from one end of the sheath, to which an auxiliary device is connected, to the other end of the sheath. The control cord also has a connector, attached to the other end of the sheath and is made with possibility of connecting several electric conductors to a portable electronic device, enabling interaction of the portable electronic device with an auxiliary device. The connector has at least one terminal, which can receive the portable electronic device and this terminal provides for control input signal into the portable electronic device. The control input signal is obtained from physical manipulation of the sheath.
