SUBSTANCE: proposed power converter 10 designed to receive AC input signal and DC input signal and to convert DC signal so that converted DC signal will have power characteristics which can be chosen. Converter has programming circuit 726 incorporating programmable memory 715 for saving choice code; programming circuit 726 is capable of joint operation for specifying power characteristics of converter DC signal basing on choice code.
