FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to endocrinology and cardiology and can be used in detection of early latent forms of carbohydrate metabolism inducing development of pancreatic diabetes. Blood serum sampled on an empty stomach is analysed for levels of glucose (G), triglycerides (TG) and concentration of apolipoproteins AI (apo AI) and AII (apo AII). The molar ratio apo AII/apo AI is calculated. The latent insulin resistance is detected by the molar ratio apo AII/apo AI>=0.35 with normal G and TG levels.
EFFECT: invention provides detecting the latent insulin resistance even in G and TG levels analysed on an empty stomach.
