SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for diagnostics of metabolically healthy (MHO) and metabolically unhealthy (MUO) obesity in women of young and middle age. Waist circumference (WC) and height (H) are measured, blood triglycerides, glucose and insulin are measured. Further, WC/H and HOMA-IR are calculated. Based on the obtained values, the coefficient K is determined by a given formula. And at K 15.0 cu and more, MHO is diagnosed, if K is less than 8.3 cu MUO is diagnosed, if K is less than 15, but more than 8.3, the diagnosis is clarified by conducting an additional examination, including measurement of systolic and diastolic blood pressure, determination of high and low density lipoprotein cholesterols in blood.
EFFECT: method enables timely detection of metabolically unhealthy obesity at the outpatient stage by assessing the aggregate of the most significant indicators.
