The method for predicting the risk of developing insulin resistance includes examining the levels of apolipoproteins B (apoB) and A1 (apoA1) in the patient's venous blood, calculating the ratio of apolipoprotein B / apolipoprotein A1, where with an increase in the apoB / apoA1 ratio within 0.57-0.70, the average risk is diagnosed development of insulin resistance, in the range of 0.71-0.85 - a high risk, and above 0.86 a - very high risk of developing insulin resistance is diagnosed.

EFFECT: above method ensures early and accurate prediction of the risk of developing insulin resistance.
