SUBSTANCE: inventions refer to psychiatry, to treatment of the disease as specified: bipolar disorder, psychotic states as maniacal syndrome or schizophrenia, or redundant emotional mobility wherein behavioural stabilisation is desired. The present inventions concern compounds of formula I where R₁ represents hydrogen or C₁-C₃alkylcarbonyl or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt applied to treat the specified diseases, and form a pharmaceutical composition to treat the specified diseases; a combination additionally containing at least one compound, chosen from the group including lithium, divalproex, standard antipsychotic agents, atypical antipsychotic agents, lamotrigine and antidepressants; and a commercial package including the specified combination with prescribing information.

EFFECT: more effective treatment of the disease as specified: bipolar disorder, psychotic states as maniacal syndrome or schizophrenia, or redundant emotional mobility.
